At Taradale Kindergarten we encourage children to develop self-confidence and skills for life – a sense of fun, curiosity, creativity, responsibility, problem-solving, independence, decision making, communication, co-operation, resilience, perseverance, empathy, sharing and pride in their personal achievements.

This encompasses the children’s well being -social, emotional, cognitive, physical and cultural as well as language growth while acknowledging their individuality. Awareness of sustainability in the world around them is fostered through our teachings, relationships and the work in our gardens. 

We provide a vibrant and supportive teaching and learning environment where connecting links with the family / whanau, community and the wider world are affirmed and extended.
