Our tamariki and whānau are enriched, nurtured and valued through a calm, engaging learning environment, rich in meaningful learning experiences. We promote mindfulness in our daily rituals and practice and provide nutritious KidsCan meals, clothing, shoes and gumboots for all tamariki, as well as nappies, all for no extra charge.
We believe in empowering tamariki to build their identity through planned learning and play experiences that are based around our kaupapa and philosophy with our tamariki at the heart of all we do. We believe in the power of early childhood education to lay strong foundations for life long learning and success.
Our beautiful natural environment, strong community connections and passionate teaching team make us a cherished part of many local families’ learning journey. We honour our tamariki and their whakapapa through providing a curriculum including te reo maori, te ao maori and tikanga that is woven through all aspects of our day.
Vision and Philosophy
Ka whakahōnore mātou i ngā wawata rerekē I ō tātou whānaunga me te hapori ako hoki.
We promote peaceful play and respectful relationships, upholding the mana of each child.
We empower children to develop confidence and competence through planned and spontaneous experiences.
We nurture and build a sense of belonging through whakawhānaungatanga and manaakitanga.
We foster tiaki taiao for our whenua and the natural world around us through sustainable teaching and learning practices.
We honour the diverse aspirations of our whanau and learning community.
