Nestled at the top of a driveway, Mary Richmond Kindergarten is a hidden gem where many generations of whānau return. Our spacious, natural environment invites exploration and discovery, while kaiako support tamariki in developing a sense of belonging.
Whānaungatanga is cherished as we collaborate with whānau to realise their aspirations, enhancing learning outcomes for tamariki. Our environment is set up in a way which promotes and values tuākana-tēina relationships, where our younger tamariki learn with and alongside their older peers.

Vision and Philosophy
At Mary Richmond Kindergarten, our community, teaching and learning are guided by the values of Maakitanga, Kaitiakitanga, Rangatiratanga and Whānaungatanga.
We are committed to empowering each child’s cultural identity and heritage, nurturing a strong sense of belonging, respect and responsibility.
Through our inclusive environment tamariki are supported and inspired to develop a positive foundation towards learning, as confident and capable ākonga.
