Ngā hau e Whā – Four Winds
Our rōpū has the shared philosophy / rapunga whakaaro, to build upon the mana of our association by building confidence for all things Māoritanga. We do this through:
Tautoko me te awhi Kaiako mā ki te reo me ngā tīkanga Māori – supporting our teachers with the Māori language and protocols.
Providing resources to support basic kupu/words, rerenga/sentences, waiata/songs and karakia/prayers and blessings.
Provide wānanga/work shops, mihi whakatau/basic introductions and speeches, Marae visits/noho, appropriate professional development.
Provide a te Ao Māori voice with Association reviews and relevant decision making.
Everyone is welcome to join our ropu. We are all in this together! He waka eke noa!
