All staff working with or alongside children are required to be Police Vet checked. Registered teachers are Police Vet checked by the NZ Teachers Council as part of their teacher registration process. Our kaikao and kaiako aides must also hold a current first aid certificate.
Permanent teaching positions are advertised in the Education Gazette, with application packs available on request. Anyone interested in other roles within the Association is welcome to contact the General Manager.
Our Team
Kaiako
We employ 100% trained and registered Early Childhood Education (ECE) kaiako to teach and guide our tamariki.
Relieving Kaiako
We have a pool of trained, registered ECE relieving kaiako who provide support on a casual or longer-term basis to cover teacher absences.
Flexi Teacher
We employ a team of permanent, fully qualified and registered Kaiako who work across our sixteen kindergartens. Our Flexi Teachers provide teaching cover for staff leave, professional learning, and unexpected absences, ensuring continuity of care and learning for our tamariki.
Administrative Support Staff
A dedicated administration team supports our management staff and ensures smooth day-to-day operations.
Kindergarten Support Workers
Each Kindergarten has a part-time support worker who assist teachers with preparation, housekeeping duties, and craft resources.
Management Staff
Our leadership team includes a General Manager, Finance Manager, Education Manager (Senior Kaiako) and a Operations Manager.

Reliever Teaching
We invite anyone with a recognised Early Childhood Qualification to register as a Relieving Teacher for the Association.
All relievers must hold a current practising certificate (ECANZ) and a current first aid certificate.
Please note we are not an accredited employer so are unable to support applications requiring an Accredited Employer Work Visa.
