Welcome to
Wharerangi Kindergarten

A Place to Learn, Grow and Belong.

Kia Ora and a warm welcome to Wharerangi Kindergarten!

At Wharerangi Kindergarten, we believe in nurturing curious minds and compassionate hearts. Our Kindergarten offers a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children aged 2-5 can explore, create and grow at their own pace. Rooted in the values of respect, whanaungatanga -relationships and lifelong learning, we partner with families and the community to support each child’s unique journey.

Our passionate and experienced Kaiako – teachers foster a play-based curriculum inspired by Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s early childhood education framework. We embrace a holistic approach, supporting not only cognitive development but also social, emotional, physical and cultural wellbeing.

We encourage strong connections between home and kindergarten, recognising parents and whānau as a child’s first and most important teachers. Whether it’s through daily conversations, shared events, or learning stories, we’re here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

We’re proud to be part of the Napier Kindergarten Association, and we look forward to welcoming you and your tamariki into our learning community.

Nau mai, haere mai – Welcome to Wharerangi Kindergarten
