Our Kindergarten is situated in the heart of Wairoa.Surrounded by stunning native trees it feels like a tranquil hide away for our Tamariki to explore, learn and grow.Established in the 1950’s Wairoa Kindergarten has been a place of quality education and connections for many generations.We love supporting our community and keeping connected to our whanau.

At Wairoa Kindergarten tamariki develop positive dispositions to learning, sparking curiosity and wonder. We support independence and confidence through a fun, safe, exciting and inclusive programme and learning environment. Our Tamariki and whanau develop lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community and belonging.

Our team of Kaiako are well established and experienced teachers with extensive knowledge of teaching and learning. Our teachers are passionate, fun, creative and professional, who strive to provide a rich learning and fun environment for tamariki. As Wairoa becomes more diverse and multicultural we endeavour to support our entire community.
