We believe every child deserves to have their mana (dignity and strength) upheld and celebrated. We’re proud to reflect the unique culture of Wairoa, working alongside whānau and iwi to support each child’s growth.
We focus on building confidence, aroha, resilience, creativity, and a strong connection to the environment through hands-on, meaningful learning.
North Clyde kindergarten is modern and inviting, it is a calm and inclusive environment that promotes mindfulness for our tamariki, whānau and teaching team.
Vision and Philosophy
We uphold the mana of each tamaiti. Through iwi mātauranga our vision is to uphold the practices that are unique to the whanau, hapu and iwi of Ngāti kahungunu ki te Wairoa. We believe that by developing their confidence, aroha, resilience, creativity and identity their mana will forever be upheld.
